My name is Marna and I am based in the North East of England, on the border of the North Yorkshire Moors where I grew up.

My company is called 'little a designs' after my gorgeous boy, Arthur. Since starting the business my husband, Simon, and I have had another wonderful addition to the family, little Phoebe, we mustn't forget her. So when I'm not looking after our two very beautiful children, I sew.

I am a qualified and highly trained, award winning fine artist and florist,with over fourteen years of experience in the arts field. I have extensive experience with commercial and private murals, I specialise in children's rooms and playrooms and painting children's toy boxes and plaques. I am very used to working to deadlines and will always endeavour to deliver what is promised.

I now spend most of my time sewing cushions and hearts as it fits into my family life easier, so I don't have to leave my children. I have always sewn as a hobby and a way to relax and have got a small (I say small meaning large!) addiction to beautiful fabrics and pretty buttons, so why not share the love a bit eh! I believe in using the highest quality, and as many unusual things as possible, so you get something entirely different, a one off. I concentrate on the feel of the fabric & the textures of the fabric when used with the buttons, how the colour of the thread may compliment an element of the pattern, it's all about the little details. Personalising things for you is my favourite thing, it's all about giving you something to treasure, something that you will want to keep forever.
